Friends of The Severn Lake - February
2012
On Saturday morning, 7th April 2012, at 10.30am a small flotilla
of “Round the World Yachts” (they are only forty inches
long) will be launched from Brean Down on an ebb tide.
This very small but significant event will kick start an annual
Severn Lake Regatta.
There is talk of building works for the Severn Lake Causeway
being carried out on the day by a rogue group of maverick entrepreneurs
from Burnham.
Exciting times in the West.
